The next one is at a game where my cousin's 2 boys (2nd cousins?) played little league.
The last picture is of my other cousin's youngest boy. I thought it is cute how they are looking at each other. :-)

We'll we got back from our trip last night. What a busy week it was. We spent time with my relatives and some friends. We were able to find a nice 3 bedroom in the Tri-cities area (South/East Washington)
Our move in date is in a few weeks so that means we have a lot of work to do. :-)

Eric was so good on this trip. It is such a blessing. He seemed to be so adaptable to all the driving and even sleeping in the pack n' play.

I wasn't able to take a lot of pictures because David and I were driving and looking at about 4 places a day.
We called and found out which apartments were available and which ones were down stairs and had certain amenities. Our prayers were definitely answered!

Sorry this is a short post but I have to get cracking because we have a lot of packing to do.

busy boy

I've been keeping Eric in the play pen a lot lately. I've been busy packing and getting ready for our trip. We leave on Sunday.
He is determined to put things in his mouth. Anything from blankets to toys to his toes. :-)

shopping----It's a girl thing..........

If anybody is interested...........There is a storewide clearance at Mervyns! Whoohoo!
I went shopping today and I scored. :-) I had David's permission to buy myself some outfits and some things that I needed.
One thing was a new purse because the one I had just wasn't working and it was worn out.
The other important thing I needed to get was a swimsuit. Ick. I hate swimsuit shopping. It's fun to look at the pretty colors on the hangers but it's another thing to take it off the hanger and try it on......... But I was able to find a great one. The reason why it is so great is that it hides things that need to be hidden (if you know what I mean). :-)
I think it is quite pretty and it looks flattering. And best of all, it was 50% off!!

I took Eric with me today when I went shopping. He was so good. He took a nice nap and he was happy and cheerful all day. He smiled at everybody who looked at him.
I am so blessed.

baby babble

Eric is babbling. But I perfer to say that he said his first word. It was Mama!!!!!
This past week he started saying some really cute stuff, like: ba ba ba ba ma ma ma ma maaaahh.
So cute! I'm telling you. David and I immediately got the video camera and started recording. There was no way we were going to miss this. Plus, we wanted to show him when he gets older someday. :-) And of course the Grandparents. :-)

Eric has been entertaining us a lot lately. He likes it when his Daddy and Mommy play "Peek a boo" with him. He likes to smile and laugh when he has bananas in his mouth. It's quite funny and messy.
I think this stage is so fun. His personality is showing up and it's so fun to watch him.
Sometimes I get overwhelmed with all the stuff that moms have to do. But it's so rewarding and fun when he laughs and smiles at me.

I was able to get a "pack and play" (portable play pen). So far it seems to be well worth the money. I'm sure that we will get lots of use from it too. We can use it when we travel and I can use it now for keeping him in a safe place so I can keep an eye on him.

pulling my hair out

I'm going crazy. That is the main reason why I haven't been posting recently. He is rolling and every time I look at him, he is either on the verge of hurting himself or he has rolled to a place where he shouldn't be because it hasn't been baby proofed yet.
Anyway, I am feeling stressed because I can't do too much make the situation better.

At the end of this month, the 3 of us are taking a trip to Washington to look for a place to live. We are in need of a much bigger place that is affordable. Right now we are in a 1 bedroom and we desperately need the space for Eric and an office for David.

How do moms do it when their kids really get mobile and start running all over the place?
I honestly don't know what I'm going to do when that time comes. I'm already tired out.

oh boy!

This is Eric's new crib. We had to get a full sized crib because he out grew his portable crib. He was rolling over and bumping his head and getting his legs caught in between the slats.

He's still rolling over but I can't do anything about that. :-)

Life seems to be passing me by these days and Eric is keeping me on my toes.

Eric still likes his foods and lately he has been chowing down on fruits and vegetables.

Now isn't that a cute smile?
