Guess What everybody?

Ready....set.....go..... no not yet....you have to wait 9 months.

I just gave it a way. I'm not very good about keeping the suspense. We are just so excited we cannot contain ourselves. Anyway, I have to say that the doctors appointment that I had last Thursday had some results.

The blood test was positive!!!!!

Yes, that means that I'm pregnant. I don't know when it will sink in with me.
David and I are soooo excited. I just can't believe it. I'm going to be a mom? No way!
Today, David and I went in again to have an ultrasound. He went with me. It was so neat. I just can't believe it. I really couldn't see anything. Ofcourse I didn't know what to look for either, but the nurse showed us on the screen. According to the Ultrasound, I am about 5 weeks along. The nurse(and doctor) weren't too sure about the due date but they were thinking sometime in October or the beginning of November.

So that's it. I'm going to try to eat something. Lately, almost everything I try to eat does not sound appetizing at all.

I'll keep the blog posted. :-)

problems

David is having a laptop problem. It is a Pentium 4 and it keeps shutting down. The problem is that it runs fast and the fans don't keep it cool enough. So for the past 4 months we have been keeping the air conditioning on. What a bummer! It is a drag because it's already pretty cold in the apartment. So right now we are the only ones with the air conditioning on in the winter. I probably shouldn't assume that we are the only ones with the air conditioning on, but it does seem really strange. The fish tank thermometer is going down.(We have a fish tank and the temperature is not very steady.) I know that it is more important for David's job to be going well so I need to just forget about everything else. In the meantime we are both bundled up in sweatshirts and jackets. :-|

David has tried to buy a fan for laptops. Apparently it is a common problem in these Pentium 4s because the store where he bought the laptop actually sells fans. It's called a cooling pad.
This is becoming a problem though because he really needs his laptop for work. Right now we are considering have him use the computer in the bedroom. But that means that I have to do with out it for most of the day, when he is working. I hope there is a reasonable solution soon.

On other news. I don't want to give too many details but I think that my reproductive cycle-hormones I don't know what it is. It seems to be malfunctioning. It's very frustrating and confusing. I know my body and I certainly know when something is not right. If anyone wants to know what I'm talking about they can email or call me. I don't feel comfortable about going into personal details on this blog.

I have a doctors appointment this afternoon so I will try to keep you posted somehow.
Although the doctor may not be able to help. I don't know what I will do if that is the case. I'm worried and scared. I don't like going to the doctor when I don't know what is wrong.

Marine Biology...........

I have a new goal. Something new that I want to pursue. For Valentines day, David took me to the of the Aquarium Pacific in Long Beach. It was Awesome! I really had a great time. They had a touch pool where you could touch the sting rays and the baby sharks.
Ok, I'm feeling like a little kid right now as I'm describing this. Who cares? I was really intrigued by all of what I saw. There was a huge tank that had all kinds of different fish and marine life in it. There were certain times of the day when the scuba divers went into the tank and fed the fish. It was neat to watch.

So I'm not sure how I will go about doing this, but I really would love to work with marine life. I have talked to one of the people there who works at the aquarium and she gave me some tips and infomation on what I could do. (for example: volunteering at a place like that, and taking some Marine Biology classes). I'm excited that I found something that I'm interested in. I am praying that this is what God wants me to do.

feeling better

Hello there! I'm doing better. I went to a Bible Study tonight which was good. I'm not as depressed. Now that I think about it, I feel silly for going on and on in my recent post. I think I should wear a rubber band on my wrist. When I have a negative thought and start to think that I'm worthless, I'll snap it. Ow!

So I'm actually going to look forward to the weekend. I'm going to focus on my homework and try to enjoy the outdoors too.
