Children's museum
I took Eric to a Children's museum today. I met up with some other moms and their kids. It was great. I've been hearing about it but I figured that it was mostly for older kids (pre-school and older) and Eric would probably be bored (I've been to one before and that's mostly how it was). I was wrong. He absolutely loved it. There were a lot of toys for Eric to play with and things for him to explore. I'm so glad that there is a place like this in our area. I'll try to do this more often as it's a great way to get out of the house and to meet and connect with other moms. It helps both of us (Eric and me) and that's always a good thing.
There was a long, wooden floor that he loved crawling on. I tried to take more pictures but I was too busy trying to keep an eye on him. He sure crawls fast. It's going to be interesting when he starts walking. I'm sure that once he gets up and starts walking he's going to just take off.
The past few days he's been pointing at things. David and I have been telling him what things are. Also, he has been getting up on all fours like he is ready to stand up by himself! I'll keep the camera nearby to try to capture those shots. It's been exciting watching him develop and meet those milestones.

The musuem looks fun! There's one around here so I'll have to keep that in mind for the "someday." :-)
Thanks for adding me to your list of blogs, too!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Alison
