On to something new
Eric told me to stop complaining and to stop being such a downer. :-) (from the last post)Today he handed me a book and got into my lap. It was the first time he has done that. He acted content and was pointing to the pictures and made some cute sounds like he's really trying to say Stegosaurus (dinosaur book). It was so cute. Usually, he just closes the book when I try to read to him.
The packing is coming along. I have been trying to pack a few boxes each night after Eric goes to bed.
The move in date is next weekend. We are supposed to sign the papers for the loan this Friday and the closing date is Monday.

It's down to the wire, now:) We trust all will go well for you kids as you finish up packing and make the move to your new home! Sounds like Eric really does want to be read to, now, doesn't it? It's a good idea to pronounce and say what the objects are as you point to them, or if Eric wants something. He will eventually surprise you by saying the word himself!
