hair dryer

My hair dryer just died. It started smoking. I was using it a little ealier today and then when I went to use it later, it made a strange noise and started smoking. So I turned it off. Guess that means I'll need to buy a new one. I've had it for about 2 years. They don't make them like they use to. Actually there was a time when hair dryers didn't exist. Someone had to invent them right? I'm not sure what girls did before that. Imagine having to air dry your hair. You couldn't curl it or style it because it would be wet. Hmmmmm...... What a bummer that would be. I think we take things for granted now that we have them. Modern technology. What would we do with out it?

Becky, I have lost my hairdryer because it just died out too! I can so relate :) Its like when you find a good hairdryer that works for you, and you like the color of it, life is good. Then after 2 years, all of a sudden, DiSaStEr StIkEs! That's a disaster, right? Losing a hair dryer...at a bad time :)
At least in the business of life it can seem like a minor disaster that interrupts the flow of life. Actually, sometimes in those moments, I stop and realize that I may need to slow down a bit. Then it's amazing how much clearer I can hear God's voice.
But hey, hope your new hairdryer has a long useful life.... :)
